When Is It A Good Idea To Slowly Grow Your Business?

I recently interviewed Jason VandeBoom, the CEO and founder of ActiveCampaign (my email and marketing automation service).

Jason started his company in 2003. It was a very different company than what he runs today.

During the evolution he had to make many decisions about their changes. Unfortunately, he didn't make some decisions fast enough. And others he forced everyone to move slowly on.

They eventually transitioned from 8 self-hosted software products to 1 fully managed customer solution, ActiveCampaign.

In this episode of Fail To Learn Jason shares the struggles they had during this transition, what it cost him, and what he thinks he did right, and what didn't go so well.
